# Bidet Black Friday and Prime Day deal check: the outlet, the bowl and the heater decide before the discount does

> Prime Big Deal Days run October 6-7, 2026. Before buying a bidet seat on sale: a GFCI outlet inside a 39 to 48 in cord, the right bowl, a 403 or 1273 W heater.

## Short answer

A bidet seat deal during Prime Big Deal Days (October 6-7, 2026, per Amazon's own
announcement) or Black Friday (Friday November 27, 2026) is worth taking only if the house
already passes three checks. First, a grounded GFCI outlet sits inside the cord: TOTO's C5
spec sheet prints 3.93 ft, Kohler's E580 sheet 39 in, Brondell's SE400 sheet 48 in. Second,
the bowl matches: Brondell's elongated SE400 fits bowls 18 to 19.5 in, and Bio Bidet's
compatibility guide and TUSHY's FAQ both exclude French curve toilets. Third, the heater
type was chosen on purpose: TOTO's C5 spec sheet prints 403 W and its fit chart lists 1273 W for
the instantaneous S2. If any check fails, the discount is on the wrong unit. A non-electric
attachment such as the LUXE NEO 120 skips the outlet check entirely, so it is the
only bidet on this page that works as an unmeasured gift. Amazon had not published a Black
Friday 2026 window as of 2 October 2026.

## Fact sheet

- **Answer:** A bidet seat deal is worth taking only when the house passes the spec first: a grounded GFCI outlet inside the cord (TOTO C5 3.93 ft, Kohler E580 39 in, Brondell SE400 48 in), the bowl shape the seat was ordered in, and a heater chosen on purpose (403 W for TOTO's C5, 1273 W for its S2). Prime Big Deal Days run October 6-7, 2026; no Black Friday window was published yet.
- **Basis:** Maker spec sheets for cord length, wattage, bowl fit and warranty (TOTO SS-01893 and fit chart, Kohler K-32330, Brondell SE400, Bio Bidet and TUSHY compatibility pages); Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days announcement; Amazon's seller guidance on List Price and Typical Price; 16 CFR 233.1 on former price comparisons.
- **Assumptions:** US store, 120 V. Cord lengths and outlet requirements are the figures each named maker prints for that model; other models from the same maker may differ.; Amazon's strike-through pricing help page could not be opened for this page (HTTP 503 on 2 October 2026), so the reference-price explanation rests on Amazon's seller blog and the FTC rule, not on that help page.; No Amazon 2026 holiday return window had been published as of 2 October 2026; the 2025 window (purchases November 1 to December 31, returns to January 31) is given as precedent only.
- **Method:** A spec comparison written on 2 October 2026 from the documents named in the sentence that uses each figure. Nothing was installed or run by this site, no owner reviews were collected, and every listing in the picks was confirmed in stock through the Amazon Creators API the same day. Prices and savings appear only on the live cards, with Amazon's time stamp.
- **Primary source:** [TOTO, WASHLET C5 SW3084 spec sheet SS-01893](https://www.totousa.com/filemanager_uploads/product_assets/SpecSheet/SS-01893_SW3084.pdf) (manufacturer or vendor document)

Do not buy a bidet seat because the card says it is a big percentage off; buy it because a grounded GFCI outlet sits inside its cord and your bowl is on the maker's fit list, and if it is not, read [will a bidet fit my toilet](/plumbing/guides/will-a-bidet-fit-my-toilet/) before the sale ends, not after.

## How do you read the discount on the card?

The price and any saving shown on each card above are Amazon's live figures, stamped with
the time they were fetched; nothing on this page states a price.

A percentage is only as honest as its denominator. Amazon's own seller guidance says a List
Price is validated against sales in Amazon's store and external competitors' prices, and
that a Typical Price is the median price customers paid over the past 90 days, not counting
limited-time promotion prices. A saving measured against a List Price nobody paid looks
larger than the same sale price measured against the Typical Price.

The FTC's rule on former price comparisons, 16 CFR 233.1, says a former price is a
legitimate comparison only if it was the actual, bona fide price at which the article was
offered to the public on a regular basis for a reasonably substantial period of time. A
fictitious former price makes the "reduced" price, in the FTC's words, probably just the
regular price.

Amazon's help page on strike-through pricing returned HTTP 503 every time it was requested
for this page on 2 October 2026, so its exact wording is not quoted here.

## Trap 1: the outlet and the cord

A sale price tempts people to skip the one spec that cannot be fixed with a return label:
the outlet. Every electric seat on this page prints a grounded-outlet requirement (Brondell and Kohler
specify GFCI protection, TOTO's manual specifies a grounded three-prong outlet) and a cord
length, and the cord is the maximum distance from the seat's right rear corner to that
outlet.

| Seat | Outlet the maker requires | Cord printed | Document |
|---|---|---|---|
| TOTO WASHLET C5 | Properly grounded three-prong outlet (TOTO's C2/KC2 manual; the C5's own sheet prints no outlet type) | 3.93 ft (1.2 m) | TOTO spec sheet SS-01893 |
| Kohler PureWash E580 | Dedicated electrical circuit, 120 V, 15 A, 60 Hz, protected by a Class A GFCI | 39 in (991 mm) | Kohler spec sheet K-32330 |
| Brondell Swash SE400 | Grounded 120 V GFCI outlet | 48 in | Brondell SE400 spec sheet and manual |

A GFCI is a ground-fault circuit interrupter, the outlet with the test and reset buttons.
If the nearest one is behind the sink and the cord will not reach, the seat is not on sale
for you: it is on sale for whoever pays an electrician first.

## Trap 2: the bowl shape and the excluded toilets

Bidet seats are ordered elongated or round, and the makers say not to mix them. Bio Bidet's
compatibility guide says a round seat on an elongated bowl (or the reverse) is not
recommended because the bowl supports the seat. Brondell's SE400 sheet prints the ranges:
elongated for bowls 18 to 19.5 in, round for 16 to 17.75 in, measured from the seat bolts to
the front rim. How to take that measurement is on the
[toilet seat size page](/plumbing/parts/toilet-seat-size-round-vs-elongated/).

Some bowls fail regardless of shape. Bio Bidet's guide says seats and attachments do not fit
well on deep French curve toilets and that custom shapes such as rectangular bowls may be
incompatible. TUSHY's FAQ names French curve toilets as its exception. TOTO's C5 sheet says
the WASHLET may not fit certain toilet bowl designs, and TOTO's fit chart adds that fit can
fail where the tank meets the bowl.

## Trap 3: the heater type and its wattage

Two seats at the same sale price can draw very different power while heating water. TOTO's
C5 spec sheet prints 403 W, and its fit chart lists 1273 W for the instantaneous S2. Brondell's SE400 sheet prints a
600 W heater plus a 55 W seat heater. Kohler calls the E580 a hybrid with continuously
heated water and prints no wattage on its sheet.

The running cost that outlives the sale is electricity, and no maker document read for this
page prints an hours-per-day figure, so the formula needs your own estimate:

kWh per year = rated watts x hours the heater runs per day / 1000 x 365

Multiply by the price per kWh on your utility bill. The rated watts are the draw while the
heater runs, not a continuous load, so the hours figure is the uncertain term. A
non-electric attachment puts zero in the first term.

## Trap 4: the warranty years

A discount is a one-time number; the warranty is the only durability figure a maker commits
to, and a sale does not change it.

| Unit | Warranty as printed | Document |
|---|---|---|
| Kohler PureWash E580 | Three-year limited | Kohler spec sheet K-32330 |
| LUXE NEO 120 and NEO 320 | 18 months, extended by 6 months on registration | LUXE warranty policy |
| TUSHY attachments | 12 months on equipment and parts | TUSHY FAQ |
| TOTO WASHLET C5 | One-year limited | TOTO spec sheet SS-01893 |
| Brondell Swash SE400 and SouthSpa LH-22 | 1-year limited | Brondell SE400 and SouthSpa LH-22 spec sheets |

**Before you add a bidet seat to the cart**

Walk to the toilet with a tape measure. Note the bowl length from the seat bolts to the front
rim, the distance from the seat's rear corner to the nearest GFCI outlet, and whether the
bowl is a one-piece with a French curve. Those three numbers pick the unit; the card's
percentage only picks the day.

## Trap 5: buying it as a gift

A bidet bought in the Black Friday or Christmas window is often a gift, and a gift is a seat
bought for a toilet nobody measured. Measure the recipient's bowl and outlet first, or give a non-electric attachment:
LUXE's NEO 120 page says no electricity is required and that its bidets fit most toilets.

On returns, Amazon had not published a 2026 holiday return window as of 2 October 2026. The
precedent is the 2025 season: Amazon's announcement said items bought November 1 to
December 31, 2025 could be returned until January 31, 2026, with Apple-branded items until
January 15, 2026. Do not assume the 2026 window until Amazon prints it.

## Which bidet deals are worth taking?

| Your situation | Buy it on sale | Skip it |
|---|---|---|
| No grounded GFCI outlet within 39 to 48 in of the toilet | LUXE NEO 120 or NEO 320 if the sink hot line reaches | Every electric seat on this page |
| Toilet against a wall on the right, no outlet | Brondell SouthSpa LH-22 (no batteries or electricity required, per its spec sheet) | Right-hand control panels |
| Grounded GFCI within 48 in, elongated bowl 18 to 19.5 in | Brondell Swash SE400 | Any seat whose cord is shorter than your measurement |
| Dedicated GFCI circuit within 39 in, wants 3 years of warranty | Kohler PureWash E580 | A one-year unit at a bigger percentage |
| Wants a TOTO, outlet within 3.93 ft, bowl passes TOTO's fit chart | TOTO WASHLET C5 | The S2 if 1273 W is more than the circuit should carry with what else is on it |
| French curve or rectangular one-piece bowl | Nothing until the maker confirms fit | Seats and attachments alike (Bio Bidet, TUSHY) |
| A gift for a toilet nobody has measured | A non-electric attachment | Every electric seat |

The full spec comparison behind these picks is on
[best bidet attachment and bidet seat](/plumbing/reviews/best-bidet-attachment-and-bidet-seat/),
and if the bowl needs a plain seat first, [best toilet seat](/plumbing/reviews/best-toilet-seat/)
covers the same measurement.

## Frequently asked questions

### When are the 2026 bidet sale dates on Amazon?

Amazon's own announcement puts Prime Big Deal Days on October 6-7, 2026, starting October 6 at 12:01 a.m. PDT, with a Prime membership needed to shop all the deals. Black Friday falls on Friday November 27, 2026 and Cyber Monday on November 30 by the calendar, but as of 2 October 2026 Amazon had not published its Black Friday or Cyber Monday window, so no start date is given here.

### How do I tell if a bidet seat discount on Amazon is real?

Look at what the percentage is measured against. Amazon's seller guidance says a List Price is validated against sales in its store and competitors' prices, and that a Typical Price is the median customers paid over the past 90 days excluding limited-time promotions. The FTC's rule at 16 CFR 233.1 calls a former price legitimate only if it was the actual, bona fide price offered regularly for a substantial period.

### Does an electric bidet seat need a special outlet?

Every electric seat on this page prints a grounded GFCI requirement. Brondell's SE400 manual says a grounded 120 V GFCI outlet; Kohler's E580 sheet asks for a dedicated Class A GFCI circuit at 120 V, 15 A; TOTO's C2/KC2 manual requires a properly grounded three-prong outlet. The cord fixes the distance: 48 in on the SE400, 39 in on the E580, 3.93 ft on the TOTO C5.

### Can I give a bidet seat as a gift without measuring the toilet?

Only a non-electric attachment is a reasonable blind gift: LUXE's NEO 120 page says no electricity is required and that its bidets fit most toilets. An electric seat needs the recipient's bowl shape, the outlet position and the maker's fit list first; Bio Bidet's guide and TUSHY's FAQ both exclude French curve bowls. Amazon's 2026 holiday return window was not published as of 2 October 2026.

### Which bidet seat has the longest warranty on this page?

Kohler's PureWash E580 spec sheet prints a three-year limited warranty, the longest on this page. TOTO's C5 sheet and Brondell's SE400 sheet each print one year, TUSHY's FAQ prints 12 months, and LUXE's warranty policy prints 18 months on the NEO series plus 6 months on registration. A sale price does not change those figures, so compare them before comparing discounts.
