The Waterdrop 10UA and 10UB both take the WD-RF10 cartridge and the 15UA takes the WD-RF15. Waterdrop’s replacement filter page rates the RF10 at 11,000 gallons or 12 months and the RF15 at 19,000 gallons or 24 months, whichever comes first, and prints the same 0.5 micron rating and the same NSF/ANSI 42 and 372 line for both. Waterdrop says the RF10, RF15 and RF17 family is designed to fit all WD-UA/UB/UC series housings, so the spec that must match is the capacity printed on the cartridge, not the housing. The UF variants (10UA-UF, 10UB-UF) take the WD-RF10-UF, a 0.01 micron ultrafiltration cartridge with the same 11,000 gallon, 12 month rating, not a plain RF10. The three-stage Waterdrop TSA takes none of these: it uses WD-10PP, WD-10GC and WD-10CT on 6, 8 to 12 and 12 to 18 month clocks. The spec people get wrong is not the micron rating, which is 0.5 on every carbon cartridge in this family, but the letters after the model number: a UF housing takes the RF10-UF, and a plain RF10 is the wrong part for it.

Which cartridge fits the 10UA, 15UA and 10UB?

Waterdrop’s naming is the key. UA is the direct-connect housing that feeds the existing faucet, UB is the same housing with its own dedicated faucet, UC is the refrigerator inline version, and the number in front is the capacity tier.

The RF10/15/17 replacement filter page says that family fits all three housings; the 10UA and 10UB system pages each name the WD-RF10 as their cartridge, and the 15UA listing names the WD-RF15.

The 0.5 micron figure is printed as a filtration accuracy on Waterdrop’s page without the word absolute, so read it as nominal. The 10UA page gives the system’s flow rate as 0.75 GPM, and the 10UB page gives the same 0.75 GPM at 60 psi; Waterdrop publishes no port thread size on any of the six pages read.

How often do they need replacing?

Waterdrop’s replacement filter page gives one figure per cartridge and it is gallons or months, whichever comes first: 11,000 gallons or 12 months for the WD-RF10, 19,000 gallons or 24 months for the WD-RF15, 24,000 gallons or 36 months for the WD-RF17. The system pages themselves print only the gallon figure, so the month clock is the filter page’s number.

The 10UB page says the system can meet a tap water consumption of 22 gallons a day. At that rate the arithmetic is 11,000 divided by 22, which is 500 days, so the 12 month clock runs out before the gallon count does for a household using the filter as Waterdrop expects.

Waterdrop publishes no condition that shortens the interval: no flow-drop threshold, no sediment warning, no chlorine ceiling. The only published reference point is the 0.75 GPM at 60 psi on the 10UB page, so a noticeable drop from a fresh cartridge’s flow is the practical signal, and it is the owner’s judgement, not the maker’s rule.

On chloraminated city water, Waterdrop prints no separate capacity, so the 11,000 gallon figure is all there is.

Which cartridge to buy

The RF10 and RF15 listing titles say they reduce lead and PFAS, but Waterdrop’s own pages print only NSF/ANSI 42 and 372, and 42 covers aesthetic effects such as chlorine taste and odor. NSF/ANSI 53 and 58 are the health-effect standards, and neither appears on any Waterdrop page read this session, so if a certified lead or PFAS reduction is the reason you are filtering, this is the wrong cartridge and the under-sink filter review without RO names ones with a 53 listing.

If chlorine taste is the job and you own a 10UA or 10UB, buy the WD-RF10 ; if you own a 15UA, buy the WD-RF15 .

If your housing is labelled UF, buy neither: the RF10-UF is the listed part and it was not checked on Amazon this session.

Both carry the same 11,000 gallon, 12 month rating, but the maker's pages do not say one may be fitted to the other's housing.

Can I use a Waterdrop RF10 filter in the Waterdrop TSA system?

No. Waterdrop's TSA page lists three separate cartridges for the WD-TSA-10: the WD-10PP sediment stage every 6 months, the WD-10GC every 8 to 12 months and the WD-10CT every 12 to 18 months. The TSA-UF swaps the WD-10CT for a WD-10UF ultrafiltration stage on a 12 month clock. The single-cartridge RF10 and RF15 fit only the UA, UB and UC housings.

What NSF/ANSI certification does the Waterdrop 10UA carry?

Waterdrop's 10UA product page prints NSF/ANSI 372 and 42, and the replacement filter page prints the same two numbers for the RF10 and RF15. Neither page prints NSF/ANSI 53 or 58, which are the health-effect standards, so the lead and PFAS reduction wording on the listings is the maker's own claim. The NSF listing database was not reached this session to confirm the 42 and 372 listing.
